FIFA Soccer 10 (Wii)

I worked at Elecrtonic Arts as an Assistant Game Designer on FIFA Soccer 10 for the Wii for 8 months. This was my most recent project that I worked on and, by far, the best job I've ever had.

My Tasks:

Designed the screen layouts and user interaction for the primary game mode. Communicated my designs to the other members of the Design/Production team and updated them based on feedback.

Reviewed and reiterated the designs with the Front End department, holding several meetings to discuss the front end flow of several game modes to ensure that every screen was intuitive and accessible for our target audience.

Wrote Game Design Documents for several game modes and features. Reviewed and communicated these documents to the appropriate team members before starting production.

Coordinated user focus groups with the Testing department to receive feedback on early prototypes as well as near final features. Analyzed the user feedback and updated our designs accordingly.

Worked closely with the Localization and Marketing departments to answer any questions on behalf of the Design and Production team.

Contributed new ideas and gave feedback for every part of the game.

Pitched several ideas for FIFA 11. Organized several small design teams to elaborate and build on these pitched ideas. Presented the more detailed designs to the Lead Producer.
